“Movement is not just exercise. When you understand it properly, it becomes one of the most powerful tools we have.”

Rachel’s path to Swan Pilates was not a straight line. She began with physiotherapy — drawn to the clinical side of movement, to understanding why the body breaks down and how it rebuilds. Years of study and clinical training gave her something most Pilates instructors simply do not have: a clinical eye.

When she discovered classical Pilates, it shifted everything. Here was a complete, rigorous system built on the same principles she had studied clinically — but expressed through movement in a way that was deeply human. She trained in the classical tradition and has not looked back since.

Swan Pilates Las Vegas was built on a simple conviction: that the people of Summerlin, Henderson, and the greater Las Vegas area deserve Pilates taught at the highest possible standard — by someone who understands the body not just as a student of movement, but as a trained clinician.

Rachel works exclusively with private clients. She does not believe in the group class model for serious practitioners — the individual variation in bodies, histories, and goals is simply too great for a one-size approach to be effective. When you work with Rachel, she sees you.

Teaching Philosophy

How Rachel Teaches

Every session begins with assessment — not paperwork, but real observation and conversation. Rachel watches how you walk in, how you breathe, how you hold yourself in stillness before any instruction begins. She is reading the body before the body even moves.

She teaches by progression, never by prescription. The classical repertoire has a logical internal order, and she follows it — building your capacity methodically rather than jumping to exercises that look impressive but create compensations elsewhere.

Her physiotherapy background is always active in the room. She watches for what the body is guarding against, what movements it avoids, and why. That clinical insight changes everything about how she teaches and what she prioritizes in each session.

The goal is never just to finish the hour. It is to give you something lasting — a deeper understanding of how your body works and how to keep it working well.
